Thanks to Roger Sayle and Glaxo for releasing RasMol!

The latest release that I know of is 2.6b2 (obtained ~1998/05/01 from
ftp://ftp.dcs.ed.ac.uk/pub/rasmol/v2.6beta/).

There were two releases identified as 2.6b, which I had called 2.6b1 and
2.6b2.  Of course, there's now an /official/ 2.6b2 release.  Therefore,
I've renamed the precocious 2.6b2 to 2.6b1b.  This is probably irrelevant
-- I don't know of any reason to use 2.6b1 or 2.6b1b anymore.

The source files here are identical to those provided at
ftp://ftp.dcs.ed.ac.uk/pub/rasmol/, except that the top level directory
has been renamed to include the version number (e.g., RasMol-2.6b2/).

rasmol-i686-linux-glibc2.tgz is a binary for ix86-linux-glibc2 machines.
It is compiled for 16 bit graphics and SpaceOrb support.  Compilation
details are given in the archive.
